2lbs Premio Sweet Italian sausage
4 tbsp butter
1 large Vidalia onion, cut into wedges
½ red onion, cut into wedges
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 large red pepper, sliced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
2 tsp dried basil
2 tsp dried oregano
½ cup white wine
Place the sausage in a large skillet and brown over medium heat. Remove to from the heat and set aside.
Melt the butter in the skillet and cook the onion, red onion, peppers and garlic for 2-3 minutes.
Add the basil and oregano. Stir in the white wine and continue to cook until the peppers are tender.
Return the sausages to the pan, reduce the heat to low, cover and cook for 15 minutes to heat the sausage through.
Serve with warm Italian rolls.
