Shrimp Cocktail Serves 8


2lbs jumbo shrimp, shelled and deviened

4 cloves garlic

3 bay leaves

2tbsp salt

1tbsp coarse black pepper

2 tsp celery seed

1tbsp Old Bay

1tsp thyme leaves


Fill a large pop with water and add all the seasonings.


Bring the water to a boil and let it boil for 5 minutes.


Place the shrimp to the water.


Once the shrimp turns pink and floats to the top it’s cooked.


Remove the shrimp to a strainer and cool.


Arrange on a platter and serve with your favorite cocktail sauce and lemon.
