2 large heads of napa cabbage, shredded
2(3oz) packages ramen noodles, crushed
1 cup sesame seeds
6oz blanched slivered almonds
1 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 cups canola oil
1 tbsp + 1 tsp soy sauce
1 1/3 cup white sugar
¼ cup balsamic vinegar
1 cup white wine vinegar
In a large bowl mix the cabbage, sesame seeds, almonds and olive oil. Chill for 30 minutes.
Prepare the dressing.
Mix the canola oil, sugar, soy sauce, balsamic, and the white wine vinegar with a wire whisk or blender.
Just before you are ready to serve toss the dressing and the ramen noodles into the cabbage mixture.
