Complete Breakfast Serves 6-8

Bread slices, crust removed and buttered on one side

Cheddar cheese, sliced or grated

Cooked bacon

4 eggs, slightly beaten

2 ½ cup milk

1 tsp dry mustard butter

corn flakes

butter, melted or reserved bacon drippings


Line the bottom of a baking dish (any size) with slices of bread, buttered side down. Add a layer of cheddar cheese; Add a layer of bacon. Add another layer of bread, buttered side up.


Mix the eggs with the milk and dry mustard; Pour over the bread.


Toss enough corn flakes to cover the top of the bread with either melted butter or bacon drippings( just enough to coat the flakes). Layer the cornflakes over the top of the bread.


Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 325° for 45 minutes or until firm.
