Bloody Mary Shrimp Cocktail

1 ½ lb Large shrimp, cooked, peeled and deveined

½ cup tomato juice

¼ cup vodka

½ tsp hot sauce

½ tsp sugar

½ tsp celery salt

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

1 cup cocktail sauce


Arrange the shrimp in a single layer in a 11x7 baking dish.


In a medium saucepan, add the tomato juice, vodka and hot sauce and heat to a boiling over medium high heat. Stir in the sugar and reduce the heat. Simmer uncovered for 5 minutes, stirring often. Add the celery salt and parsley, pour over the shrimp.


Cover and refrigerate for 3 hours.


Remove the shrimp from the marinade and arrange on a decorative platter. Serve with cocktail sauce and lemon.
