Princess Brownies


1 package family size brownie mix

1 8oz package cream cheese, softened

1/3 cup of sugar

1 egg

½ tsp vanilla


Preheat the oven to 350°


Prepare the brownie mix as directed on the package.


Combine the softened cream cheese and sugar and mix well. Add the egg and the vanilla.


Spread ½ of the brownie mixture onto the bottom of a greased 13x9 inch baking pan. Cover with the cream cheese mixture; spoon on the remaining brownie mix. Cut through the batter with a knife several times for a marble effect.


Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool.


Frosting

3tbsp butter, softened

3tbsp Nestlé unsweetened cocoa

½ tsp vanilla

2tbsp milk

1 ¼ cup confectioner’s sugar


Cream the butter and the cocoa in a small bowl with a mixer. Add the vanilla and the sugar. Blend in the milk, adding more if needed. Beat until the mixture reaches spreading consistency.


Chocolate Satin Glaze

2tbsp sugar

2tbsp water

½ cup semi sweet chocolate mini morsels


Combine the sugar and water in a small saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture boils and the sugar is dissolved. Remove from the heat and add the mini morsels, stirring until melted. Continue stirring until the glaze is the desired consistency.


Frost the brownies and then top with the glaze.
