4 large eggs

2 tsp vanilla extract

¾ tsp baking powder

¼ tsp salt

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 ¼ cup sugar

1 (13oz) jar Nutella

Preheat the oven to 325°

Lightly grease and flour a 9 x 5 loaf pan and set aside.

In a small bowl whisk the eggs and the vanilla together.

In a medium bowl combine the flour and the baking powder.

In a large bowl beat the butter and the sugar together with an electric mixer until fluffy. With the mixer on a low speed blend in the egg mixture.

With the mixer on a low speed add the flour mixture in small batches until well blended. Mix for 30 seconds more.

Spread 1/3 of the batter in the prepared pan, then ½ of the Nutella on top.

Add another 1/3 of the batter on top of the Nutella and then the remaining ½ of of the Nutella on top of the batter just added.

Top with the remaining batter and lightly swirl the batter with a dinner knife. Be careful not to over mix.

Bake the cake for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool for 15 minutes and then invert onto a baking rack, turn right side up and cool completely.

Enjoy!
