Meatloaf Wellington


1 ½ lb ground beef

¼ cup chopped onion

3tbsp chopped fresh parsley or 1tbsp dried

1 10.5oz jar of beef gravy

salt and pepper to taste

1 egg, slightly beaten

1 cup bread crumbs

1 package of refrigerated crescent rolls


Preheat the oven to 375°.


Mix the ground beef, onion, salt and pepper to taste, egg, ¼ cup gravy and the breadcrumbs. Form the meat into loaf and place in a pan.


Bake for 45 minutes and drain the fat. Separate the crescent rolls and cover the entire meatloaf overlapping the triangles. Bake for an additional 15 minutes.


Serve with gravy.
