Apple Crisp

6 cup thinly sliced, peeled apples

1/3 cup sugar

1tsp cinnamon

½ tsp salt

2 tbsp butter


Topping:

¾ cup sugar

½ cup flour

1/3 cup butter, firm


Preheat the oven to 375°.


Mix the apples, 1/3 cup sugar, cinnamon, salt and melted butter. Place in a greased 8” baking dish and set aside.


In a medium bowl, combine ¾ cup sugar and flour. Cut in the butter until crumbly. Sprinkle over the apples and bake for 45 minutes.


Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
