1 16oz bag coleslaw mix(with red cabbage)
2 tbsp onion, diced
2/3 cup Miracle Whip
3 tbsp vegetable oil
½ cup sugar
1 tbsp white vinegar
½ tsp Kosher salt
½ tsp poppy seeds
In a small mixing bowl whisk together the Miracle Whip, vegetable oil, sugar, vinegar, salt and poppy seeds. Set aside.
In a medium bowl combine the coleslaw mix and the onion and toss. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Add half of the dressing and refrigerate for several hours. The coleslaw will become too soupy if you add all the dressing before you refrigerate. Add more dressing if desired after refrigeration. (we prefer a dryer coleslaw)
