1 box of fudge brownie mix plus necessary ingredients per package instructions.
24 Rolo candies
4 oz cream cheese
2tbsp caramel sauce
1 cup confectioner’s sugar
Preheat the oven to 325°
Remove all of the wrappers and refrigerate the candies. Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions.
Grease a 24 cup mini muffin pan with softened butter. Fill each cup ¾ full with the brownie batter.
Bake for 15- 20 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center of a brownie comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and immediately press a Rolo, with the smaller end down, into the center of each brownie. The the top of the Rolo should be even with top of the brownie. Cool for a couple of minutes.
Remove the brownie bites to a serving tray and allow to cool completely.
To make the frosting, whip the butter and the cream cheese together until smooth. Add the caramel sauce and blend. Add the confectioner’s sugar and whip until creamy and smooth. Using a pastry bag or cookie press with a decorative tip, pipe the frosting onto the top of each brownie. Chill in the refrigerator before serving.
