3 ripe bananas
1/3 cup melted butter
½ cup sugar
1 egg, beaten
2 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 ½ cup flour
½ cup mini chocolate morsels
½ chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 350º
Grease a loaf pan and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas and add the butter. Stir to combine.
Add the sugar, egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, salt and flour. Stir until blended and the batter appears smooth. (there will be some lumpiness due to the bananas)
Add the chocolate chips and walnuts and stir.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 50 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes and turn onto a wire cooling rack.
Cool completely before slicing.
